Central Queensland Indigenous Development (CQID) is a community-controlled organisation providing holistic, culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across Central Queensland. With over 260 staff (85%+ Indigenous), CQID delivers services including child safety, family support, alcohol and drug services, housing, mental health, disability advocacy, and youth programs across 8 regional offices. Founded in 2004 and formerly coordinating the Community Development Employment Program, CQID is committed to positive social change and improved wellbeing for Indigenous communities.
