Giving Philosophy
The IAF believes in supporting artists at the early stages of their creative journey, regardless of age, by providing accessible funding for professional development and project-based work. As a volunteer-run organization, they prioritize directing all proceeds from events, memberships, and donations straight to grants rather than administrative costs.
Tips for Applicants
Applications are accepted in two rounds annually (March-May and August-October). Priority is given to artists within their first five years of their career. Previous recipients cannot reapply for three years. Applicants must be South Australian residents for at least one year. The IAF values innovation and emerging talent over established artists.
