Tips for Applicants

Applications are submitted via email to ahq.artf@defence.gov.au - note that loan system is currently under maintenance. Applications should clearly demonstrate hardship or emergency circumstances, and applicants should be prepared for potential delays of up to two pay cycles during high-demand periods.

Giving Philosophy

Provides concessional loans and hardship payments to support veterans and their families during financial difficulty. Priority is given to extreme hardship and emergency cases, with loan payments processed through regular defence pay cycles.
