Tips for Applicants

Applications are assessed on impact of contribution (presentation, poster, chairing sessions), anticipated benefits to applicant and their institution, and level of institutional endorsement. Apply at least 2 months before the conference date. Strong institutional support letters are important. Researchers at all career stages including PhD students, clinicians, nurse practitioners, and research nurses are eligible. Emphasize how attending will directly benefit your pediatric brain cancer research and how you'll share knowledge gained with your institution.

Giving Philosophy

The foundation operates on a three-pillar approach of Research, Care, and Development, with a strong emphasis on supporting Australian researchers to attend national and international conferences to advance pediatric neuro-oncology. They believe in making research accessible by connecting Australian researchers with global expertise, and focus on changing the odds for children facing brain cancer through targeted, strategic funding rather than broad-based giving.
