Tips for Applicants

Applicants should be First Nations students or their families seeking support for education in Victorian non-government schools. Look for open grant rounds announced on their website and email applications@openingthedoors.org.au to receive a link to the grant portal.

Giving Philosophy

The foundation values First Nations self-determination in education, providing direct financial support to families to cover school fees and other expenses. They aim to close the cost gap, ensuring First Nations students have the same opportunities as other Australian children. Support is provided for the entire 13-year educational journey in non-government schools.
