Eudunda District Country Education Foundation Inc
Tips for Applicants
Applicants should demonstrate financial need, be aged 16-25, have lived or attended school in the Eudunda region for the majority of their high school years, and show commitment to their chosen post-high school goal. Grants are for specific educational expenses and are disbursed as reimbursements or direct payments to providers.
Giving Philosophy
The foundation aims to empower rural and regional youth by addressing the higher costs and unique obstacles faced by students from non-metropolitan areas in accessing further education. They focus on community-based encouragement and financial assistance, providing grants for various educational expenses such as textbooks, tools, equipment, accommodation, and living costs. The selection criteria do not solely focus on academic success but on demonstrated need, age, local residency/schooling, and commitment to achieving one's goals. Grants are provided as reimbursements for pre-agreed expenses or paid directly to goods and services providers, rather than as direct cash grants to recipients.
