Annual Giving
$25K
Grant Range
$1K – $100K

Tips for Applicants

As a think-tank focused on policy work rather than traditional grant-making, the foundation primarily partners with universities and community organizations for specific projects. Those interested should focus on alignment with their focus areas: Aboriginal empowerment, housing and homelessness, climate justice, or arts/civic society. Building relationships through their events (Lowitja O'Donoghue Oration, Housing Symposium) would be valuable.

Giving Philosophy

The foundation believes in shaping long-term, evidence-based solutions to big social challenges through research, public engagement, advocacy, and collaboration with universities, governments, businesses, and community organizations. It acts as a thought leadership organization perpetuating Don Dunstan's vision of social reform.
