The Trustee for Moriah College Foundation
Tips for Applicants
The Atid Foundation Grant is a straightforward 'low doc' application process focused on demonstrating financial need. Families who can afford to contribute are expected to use the honour system and decline vouchers. For greater support needs, the foundation recommends applying for their standard Financial Assistance and Bursary programs. Contact Foundation Director Joseph Herschel for bequest information.
Giving Philosophy
The foundation operates on a 'l'dor v'dor' (generation to generation) philosophy, believing that investing in Jewish education is equally important after death as during one's lifetime. It removes financial barriers through means-tested bursaries, supports experiential Jewish learning through the Israel Study Tour, and encourages bequests. The foundation also relies on an honour system where families who can afford to pay do so, freeing resources for those most in need.
