Tips for Applicants

The Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF) focuses on developing leadership skills through immersive programs. Prospective participants should highlight their commitment to serving rural, regional, and remote Australia, demonstrate a willingness to engage in self-reflection and challenging experiences, and articulate their vision for creating positive community impact. While applications for the current Impact Leadership Program are closed, interested individuals can register their interest for future program rounds.

Giving Philosophy

ARLF believes that leadership is an action of service and influence, rather than a title or position. Their philosophy emphasizes self-discovery through challenging experiences, fostering vulnerability, deep listening, and collaboration. They aim to cultivate leaders who prioritize shared achievement over personal success, work alongside diverse communities including First Nations peoples, and focus on creating lasting, systemic change for rural Australia.
