Giving Philosophy

The trust values providing essential "leisure and silence" for composers to engage in creative activity. It offers year-long residencies, a dedicated space (the gifted house), and a modest stipend, aiming to facilitate the creation of new musical works by Australian composers.

Notable Grants

$15,000 stipend to Megan Washington for a 2026 residency at the Peggy Glanville-Hicks Composers House in Sydney.
$15,000 stipend to Josten Myburgh for a 2026 residency at Gallop House in Perth.
