Kinghorn Foundation
About
The Kinghorn Foundation is a private ancillary fund established in 2007 by Michael and Jennifer Kinghorn. It supports a range of charitable organisations primarily in Australia and overseas, focusing on areas such as health, education, arts & culture, environment, and Indigenous communities. The foundation is dedicated to fostering positive, lasting change through strategic philanthropy.
Tips for Applicants
As the Kinghorn Foundation primarily operates through proactive identification and invitation, direct applications are not the primary route. Organisations should focus on developing strong, impactful programs aligned with their stated thematic areas (health, education, arts, environment, Indigenous communities, research) to potentially gain their attention.
Giving Philosophy
The Foundation believes in supporting organisations that demonstrate strong leadership, innovative approaches, and a clear vision for creating positive, lasting change. They focus on initiatives that have a measurable impact and the potential for scalability, primarily operating through proactive identification and invitation rather than an open application process.
