The Mineworkers Trust
Tips for Applicants
For scholarship applications, applicants should demonstrate their likelihood of completing the course, outline their financial situation, highlight the benefits their studies will bring to mining and energy workers and/or their communities, and provide their academic record. Applications must be submitted to the Mining and Energy Union National Office by the deadline.
Giving Philosophy
The Trust's philosophy is rooted in a long tradition of supporting regional mining communities and fostering the education of mining families, stemming from its origins in the workers' efforts at Nymboida Mine. It aims to provide tangible benefits to those connected to the mining and energy industries.
