Description

Examining Youth Digital Wellbeing in Australia and the Philippines. Digital technologies are being harnessed for their potential to enhance health and wellbeing. How digital health interventions provide support across national borders in the ‘real world’ and lives of young people are key questions in the realisation of global health. Focused on sexual health and mental health interventions for marginalised young people, this DECRA project is a direct response to this concern. The project examines the promise of transnational digital health interventions from the perspective of these marginalised young people across two key sites: one high-income country (Australia) and one middle-income country (Philippines).. Scheme: Discovery Early Career Researcher Award. Field: 4410 - Sociology. Lead: A/Prof Benjamin Hanckel
