Addressing the knowledge gap is critical for improving disaster preparedness. The project will provide a nuanced understanding of how attributes of personal networks support individuals in building response capacity to compound hazard risks. By identifying effective network structures for responding to compound hazard risks, the project will equip governments and practitioners with tools need to enhance capacity building initiatives, ultimately saving money and building a more resilient nation..
