Description

Enhancing the SA Regional Facility for Molecular Ecology & Evolution. This project seeks to enhance and upgrade the equipment of the South Australian Regional Facility for Molecular Ecology & Evolution. SARFMEE has a vital role in South Australia’s science community, providing >80 researchers from 6 institutions with state-of the-art genotyping technologies for evolutionary and environmental studies. This project will enable researchers to utilise DNA samples at femtogram levels, resulting in significant outcomes, including fundamental and applied projects to detect, mitigate and manage changes in the environment. This enhanced capacity will also provide significant benefits for students, by providing cutting-edge training that keeps them at the forefront of technological advances in genome sequencing. . Scheme: Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities. Field: 0603 - Evolutionary Biology. Lead: A/Prof Kate Sanders
