AIEF Tertiary Scholarships are awarded to AIEF Alumni who have successfully completed Year 12 at an AIEF Partner School and are undertaking a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an Australian university, providing financial assistance and ongoing professional development and career support.
Requirements Summary
AIEF offers two tertiary scholarships for outstanding Indigenous Australian students. The AIEF-BHP Tertiary Scholarship supports students in engineering, science and approved degrees who aspire to work with BHP and become business leaders. The AIEF-UTS Tertiary Scholarship covers accommodation and living allowance costs for Indigenous students attending the University of Technology, Sydney. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Indigenous Australian students
Students must be outstanding in their academic pursuits
For AIEF-BHP: Engineering, science and other approved degrees
For AIEF-UTS: Must be attending or planning to attend University of Technology, Sydney
Assessment Criteria
Outstanding academic performance and achievement
Aspiration to become leaders in business (for BHP scholarship)
Alignment with BHP career aspirations or tertiary study goals
