Description

Sustainable, resilient and affordable net-zero transitions for Australia . This project aims to identify long-term scenarios for Australia’s net-zero emission future to be affordable, sustainable, secure, and resilient under unforeseen events. Using interdisciplinary approaches that integrate advanced Integrated Assessment, Energy System, and supply-chain disruption modelling, this project expects to create the Australian Resilient Transition Lab, a state-of-the-art computational collaborative research platform to enable the planning for resilient energy and food futures. This should provide significant benefits to establish Australia’s capacity for future scenario modelling that complies with international practice, and to build the long-term resilience of Australia's transition to net-zero emissions. . Scheme: Discovery Early Career Researcher Award. Field: 4011 - Environmental Engineering. Lead: Dr Mengyu Li
