Description

Transport Equity For All. Over 4.4 million Australians with disabilities are subject to active and public transport discrimination. This project aims to co-develop with people with disability and transport planners, a practice framework and tools to better guide decision making and application of equity in transport planning. By doing so, this project’s co-created knowledge and practice methods would advance transport equity for people with disability in Australia. Creating fit-for-purpose transport systems founded on equity and justice that are inclusive, ecologically sound, and affordable, will lead to multiple benefits including improved social and economic participation and more sustainable safe resilient communities, cities, and regions. . Scheme: ARC Future Fellowships. Field: 3304 - Urban and Regional Planning. Lead: Dr Lisa Stafford
