A scholarship for academically strong students entering junior years at Pymble Ladies' College.
Requirements Summary
Year 5 students under 12 years old who are Australian citizens or hold valid Australian visas (excluding subclass 500) may apply for full or part tuition fee remission scholarships for Year 7 2028 entry. Applicants must register online through Academic Assessment Services, submit a 300-500 word autobiographical essay, and sit the scholarship examination on 9 August (on-campus) or 12 August (remote). Selection is based on examination results and interview performance. External scholarship recipients must pay a $2,000 bond and $440 application fee within 48 hours of offer, plus a $4,400 enrolment fee within two weeks, with scholarships subject to annual review and high academic standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be in Year 5
Candidates must be less than 12 years of age on 31 December of the examination year
Candidates must be Australian Citizens or International students with valid Australian visa. Overseas Student subclass 500 visa holders are not eligible
Applications open to internal Pymble students and external students. Internal students eligible for Rosalie Ramsay scholarship

Timeline

Examination held at the College on Sunday 9 August, 8:30am – 12:15pm
Remote online examination for overseas, interstate or regional candidates on Wednesday 12 August, 8:30am – 12:15pm
Successful candidates must commence in Year 7 2028
