ARC Research Hub for Protected Cropping . The Research Hub for Protected Cropping (PC Hub) aims to transform the production of high quality horticultural and medicinal crops into an integrated, national industry that spans primary producers and manufacturers. This will be achieved by establishing a multi-disciplinary Hub in collaboration with industry that addresses knowledge gaps in the protected cropping (PC) sector, including plant health and breeding, waste valorisation, digital technologies, novel extraction technologies and chemistries, through to the discovery and functional characterisation of bioactives. The resulting knowledge will be applicable across related industries and will build the specialised workforce needed to underpin Australia’s developing PC industries..
