Description

Versatile Physical Property Measurement System for South-East Queensland . Advanced materials including functional nanomaterials, superconductors and thermoelectrics exhibit exciting behaviours at micro/nano scale that have the potential to revolutionise industry and society through applications ranging from energy generation to transportation and health. Realising this technology-revolution requires rapid and accurate measurements of physical properties of novel materials across the extremes of temperature, pressure, magnetic fields. This project will deliver a state-of-the-art Physical Property Measurement System capable of automated, precision measurement of electron/phonon transport properties across super-low-temperature, high-magnetic field and high-pressures currently unavailable to Queensland researchers. . Scheme: Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities. Field: 4016 - Materials Engineering. Lead: Dr Mahboobeh Shahbazi
