This project aims to investigate the intricate thermo-hydro-mechanical interactions governing the performance of pit thermal energy storage geosynthetic lining systems, critical for overcoming renewable energy intermittency. Leveraging innovative multi-scale approaches, the project will generate novel insights to advance predictive models for enhancing the liner systems' thermal efficiency and longevity.
