Description

Hydrogen storage and delivery by novel hydrogen-rich molecules. As an energy carrier to store and deliver the energy produced from intermittent wind and solar sources, hydrogen can play a pivotal role in our transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. Through novel chemical syntheses, materials fabrication, and catalysis, this project aims to develop hydrogen-rich lightweight molecules that are able to be efficiently manufactured at scale. These outcomes will drive new commercial and export opportunities for domestic chemical processing and manufacturing industries, contribute to decarbonising industries currently reliant on fossil fuels and energy-intensive processes, and accelerate development of a green and sustainable hydrogen economy..
