This program invites local grassroots organisations to apply for funding to support Western Australian communities where Rio Tinto operates, including the Pilbara region, Perth, Great Southern, Mid West, South West, Broome, and Derby. The CommBank Community Grants program provides $20,000 grants to 180 community organisations across Australia annually. These grants aim to strengthen local resilience, inclusion, and wellbeing, supporting initiatives in areas such as mental health, homelessness, education, disability inclusion, regional resilience, and youth development. Organisations are nominated by CommBank staff members.
