The Sunshine Coast Council's Major Grants program supports not-for-profit organisations in Australia to deliver one-off projects, events, and activities that provide broad community benefit, fostering a more active, vibrant, inclusive, resilient, and creative community. It also provides funding for infrastructure projects.

The Small Grants Program provides annual project-based funding to Australian organizations with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) endorsement. It supports innovative, capacity-building initiatives across education, environment, health, social welfare, and the arts, with a priority for projects benefiting communities in New South Wales.

An annual funding opportunity for independent mid-career artists in Western Australia to explore and create new work across any art form, offering project grants and residencies. It also provides additional stipends for primary carers and professional documentation.

Mission trip to Karratha & Roebourne in WA's Pilbara region, partnering with Indigenous communities and a new church plant. Includes children's ministry, community clean-up, youth outreach, and NAIDOC Week celebrations.

A 9-month life skills program for teens, aimed at building resilience and community engagement through hiking and volunteer service.

Supports early-career artists to undertake professional development opportunities.

Empowers young people through a series of structured sports-based and educational programs.

Offers grants and awards to support the development of talented Australian artists

Funding for local prostate cancer awareness and support initiatives.

A 6-week program for ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis, running Tuesday evenings from May 12 to June 16, 2026.

A 6-week online program for osteoarthritis, running Wednesday evenings from May 13 to June 17, 2026.
