The UBS Optimus Foundation Australia, as part of the global UBS Optimus Foundation network, provides grants to organizations and institutions for projects focused on social welfare, early childhood development, family support services, and initiatives benefiting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in NSW and VIC. Globally, the foundation also supports programs in health, education, protection of children, and climate and environment. Organizations can apply by submitting proposals using standard application forms.

A bespoke program funded by Ecstra that helps social enterprises embed financial education into their support models, aiming to help people gain confidence and skills to control their finances.

Research Equipment Grants provide funding to researchers for purchasing equipment necessary to conduct research at or in association with The Prince Charles Hospital. The grants support researchers in acquiring essential tools and infrastructure needed for their research projects.

Launched in 2020, this initiative provides scholarships to selected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander athletes within their regional communities. It includes one-on-one tutoring and mentorship, school equipment and stationery, a placement with a JMF-partnered football club, football equipment, and travel support to foster talent and positive change.

This program, now closed for applications, aimed to enhance the capacity of licensed NSW volunteer wildlife rehabilitation groups, independents, and Aboriginal community organisations to treat sarcoptic mange in free-living wombats by providing funding for approved chemicals and equipment.
