Given the Chance is a social enterprise recruitment program supporting disadvantaged job seekers into paid employment by partnering with a variety of business across different industries.

Compiled by a small group of local volunteers, this newsletter aims to help connect the community of Brown Hill. Four times each year, our team of 25 volunteers hand deliver hard copies to over 2000 letterboxes in Brown Hill. Printing costs are covered through advertising, which also allows local businesses to promote their goods and services to the local community. This is a project of the Brown Hill Progress Association.

We achieve our aims through targeting Victorian businesses and government enterprises for service provision and supply of goods. We supply all forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including corporate and work-wear as well as consumables to private business and infrastructure projects. We have capabilities in site office fit-out including all forms of office furniture, staff amenities and safety equipment. Supporting young men with disability to live a healthier life, through health, relationships, community and learning. They offer health and wellness programs and support for adolescent males and young men with disability. Buddiup now provides programs and services to over 100 athletes and participants in Perth and Geelong, helping young men on their journey to creating a healthier life.

Our Centre is more than just a building, it is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to connect, learn, and have fun. Burn Bright exists to promote the prevention of mental illness, we exist to help young people to look after their mental health and wellbeing in a proactive and preventative way. We do this through using a range of positive evidence-based strategies that help young people to take charge of their lives. Burn Bright is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers meaningful and dynamic student leadership, wellbeing programs and camps Australia and New Zealand-wide. Since 2014, we have delivered to over 45,000 students across 200 schools nationwide through programs, leadership camps and community partnerships. Our leadership programs educate students through the lens of servant leadership and that to lead others purposefully, they must first learn to lead themselves. The acquired leadership behaviours, wellbeing habits and character traits help build meaningful, healthy and positive long-lasting skills and friendships that will continue beyond the school years. In short, Burn Bright provides the fuel and the spark that ignites the potential within every student, leading to enhanced self-efficacy and a heightened sense of personal wellbeing.

We focus on building confidence, empowering people who are Deaf, Disabled or Neurodiverse to find meaningful employment and supporting social and community participation for community one film at a time.
