Climate Resource is a specialist climate science software and advisory firm founded in 2020 by four colleagues from the University of Melbourne. Based in Australia and Germany, it works with a global network of clients and partners, including multilateral organisations, governments, financial institutions, consulting firms, and leading research bodies such as the International Energy Agency and CSIRO. Climate Resource provides science translation, software, data, and technical support services in areas where its team is internationally recognised. It bridges a critical gap by making authoritative climate models and data accessible to both technical and non-technical users, tailored to the policy and operational decisions that they face. The team brings decades of expertise in climate science, policy, and impact assessment across emissions scenarios. Team members include leading scientists who develop and maintain the key models and datasets used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
