The Inter Club Drop-In Centre is a social enterprise that provides a community hub for social activities and events. Operating as a social enterprise, Jack’s Shed will give our customers the opportunity to volunteer their time to a meaningful and rewarding cause. Volunteers, with the support of their support worker superstars, will work collaboratively to collect newspapers from various local businesses, then sort and bundle the newspapers at Jack’s Shed ready for wrapping and strapping and transport to Perth where they will be re-purposed as organic soil stabilizer.

Jigsaw Australia provides training and employment services for people with disability, helping them pathway into mainstream open employment. As an Inclusive Employment Australia Provider, they offer comprehensive support including skills training, workplace placements, and ongoing employment assistance while partnering with businesses to create more inclusive workplaces.

Through our social enterprise, JobQuest directly employs disadvantaged job seekers that need support before becoming competitive in the open labour market ? at risk school leavers, long term unemployed, public housing tenants, newly arrived refugees and migrants and other disadvantaged and marginalised groups. Through this project, many of the participants have built up their capacity to obtain employment in the commercial sector. Some of them even start their own business and become employers themselves. This contract will allow more participants to be engaged and to develop competitiveness in the open labour market.
