Good Sammy Enterprises
Good Sammy Enterprises is a for-purpose organisation focused on creating employment opportunities for Western Australians with disability. We’ve been around since 1958 and, as a registered NDIS provider, we deliver quality personalised services that help achieve individualised outcomes. Good Sammy has a workforce of more than 800 people, with over 50% identifying as having disability. We reduce waste and help the environment by recycling almost 7 million kilos of used goods each year and as an official collection organisation for the Containers for Change program. We have a fleet of trucks and run a daily service throughout Sydney and the Illawarra. Our own brand of Australian-made homewares and hampers are excellent for corporate and employee gifts. We operate a retail store and markets in Wollongong, and sell wholesale to various stockists, in addition to offering a white label service. Gunnedah Workshop Enterprises Ltd
Registered NDIS Service Provider providing employment and training for people with a disability. We run the local Recyclit Depot which provides a variety of tasks such as sorting loading, weighing product. Shredding, customer service etc. Recyclit also has a second hand goods shop called BowerBird. At the main office we have a community contracts area providing letter/pamphlet folding, rag cutting, laminating, photocopying etc, a costume hire shop and the Mooki Woodworks suppling pegs and stakes to Mines, surveyors etc. We provide a variety of services to the community such as collecting of kerbside Recycling bins and picking up commercial recycling, shredding of confidential documents. Providing training and support to people with a disability in our community. Assisting with support coordination of NDIS plans. Packaging, folding, mailouts, laminating. We also supply a large variety of pegs and stakes for the mine and surveyors. We provide an environment which makes our employees feel safe, comfortable promoting self esteem making them valued in our community and their workplace. Helping People Achieve (HPA)
HPA - "Helping People Achieve" is a non-government not-for-profit organisation that has been providing services to Territorians with physical and intellectual disabilit since 1963, in the Darwin and Palmerston ares. HPA currently supports 68 people in our employment service and 40 people in our accommodation services. Helping People Achieve (HPA) has provided supported employment and accommodation to Territorians with disabilities since 1963. The aim of HPA’s employment service is to benefit the community through the creation and development of employment opportunities for people with disabilities and to facilitate supported accommodation. The aim of HPA’s employment service is to benefit individuals with training and ongoing support necessary to enable their success in ‘open employment’. HPA has a strong record of achieving success in this role. HPA currently has two business enterprises, Kokoda Industries and Ausdesigns that produce excellent local products and services. Kokoda Industries trains and upskills employees in a vast array of tasks and manufactures a range of high quality timber, steel and aluminium products. Ausdesigns also has a diverse range of competencies and skills for its employees to learn. It is an industrial sewing, screen-printing and embroidery business. DAS Support Services is the supported accommodation division of HPA. DAS provides this valuable outreach support to approximately 35 people living independently in the community.

IMPACT Community Services
IMPACT Community Services is a not-for-profit organisation that has been delivering support services in Bundaberg since 1978. IMPACT Community Services has also been known as Community Youth Support Service (CYSS), Bundaberg Skills Centre and IMPACT Make Your Mark, but we’ve always maintained our mission to build an inclusive community and empower our people to achieve the best they can. We offer a wide range of support, training and employment programs that help people live life, grow their potential and prosper in their future from new and exciting opportunities. IMPACT’s Recyling and Collection that is made up of 33 staff, 27 of whom have a disability plays an essential role in the recycling process. Last year IMPACT recovered more than 7,500 tonnes of recyclable material; they recycled 5,880 tonnes of paper and cardboard, saving the lives of approximately 76,650 trees, and their activities prevented 12,180 tonnes of CO2 from being released into the environment. Aware Programs is a registered NDIS provider offering positive options for people with disability. A variety of employment, training and lifestyle opportunities are offered at Aware. The Kane Rd building has a working factory, computer labs, classrooms, a recreation room, gym, movie theatre room and other facilities. Aware provides meaningful employment for people with disability.Aware-supported employees choose from a range of roles that suit their interests and capabilities. Tasks can include forklift use, vehicle detailing, production line work, embroidery, dismantling and light engineering. The Albury Upcycle Shop and Wodonga Re-use Shop are managed by Aware Programs. Aware participants are involved with the day-to-day operation of both stores. Employees are given opportunities in sorting goods, cleaning, customer service and cash handling. Not only does Aware aim to equip employees with disabilities to access mainstream employment we also provide Lifestyle and Training programs.This is to acquire the skills and qualifications needed to achieve personal and work goals. All Aware supported employees are given the opportunity to increase their skill levels. We provided people with a disability in our community the opportunity to have meaningful employment and we also offer Training and Lifestyle Programs at our Kane Road Site. Our employees have the opportunity to have more choice and control in their lives by gaining independence by earning an income.

Kurrajong operates 10 commercial enterprises across the Murrumbidgee region including Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin, Leeton, Narrandera and West Wyalong. 130 supported employees are employed providing services in and to the community including general commercial and domestic recycling, e-recycling, bin management, solar panel recycling, property services, laundry, catering and timber processing. Kurri Contracting Services (KCS) is an Australian Disability Enterprise, auspiced by Kurri Kurri Community Services Ltd, which gives people with disabilities the opportunity to live and work in a community that accepts them as valued individuals.
