Bindi as a part of Lifestyle Solutions offers a day program, Second Bite food program and supported accommodation. The organisation is largely multi-cultural offering support from staff with field relevant qualifications. The Bindi Enterprises employment service has a focus on Indigenous economic development and offering programs to suit the needs of the community members. The enterprise offers case management and therapeutic development with health assistance. Lifestyle Solutions is supporting around 70 people with disabilities in Alice Springs, this includes 20-25 supported employees with the Bindi Enterprise. Mercy Community Services SEQ Limited (MCS) is a new Catholic Ministry owned by the Brisbane Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy and established to support and empower people who are poor, vulnerable, marginalised or in a position of disadvantage so they feel safe, accepted and have choice and control of life enhancing decisions. Supported Employment - Mowing,spraying and removing grass and picking up garden waste In a large country area it is important to provide services for the community. This helps them to continue to live a healthy and supported life by taking the pressure of them by having a mowing service that is available to not only the community but also to agencies that support older people to stay at home. Another area we cover is contract work for organisations to spray, cut back scrub and mow grass, we have a larger truck to enable us to load rubbish and remove. Our supported employees feel included in a team environment that gives them a sense of inclusion and satisfaction that they can help others.

Northaven was established in 1969 by local community members and families to create employment, training, life skills and social opportunities for people living with disabilities both within their own home, outside of home and within the wider community of Inverell and surrounding areas. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people living with disability by offering paid employment opportunities, wherein individuals are trained through formal and on the job training in a work environment while building confidence and dignity, developing personal skills and earning respect in the wider community as an economic contributor to society. Bluegum specialises in broadacre grounds maintenance for industrial and commercial customers. Bluegum carries out a range of jobs including slasher mowing, brushcutting and tree planting. Bluegum is a certified social enterprise. We have over 20 years of experience providing reliable and high-quality services with an impeccable safety record and fantastic crew of supported employees. Our customers compliment us on our professionalism, safety and communication. Our supported employees tell us that working at Bluegum is like being part of a family and that it is everything they want in both a workplace and a job. The farm has long been known for its large variety of berries, which visitors can pick themselves between November and May each year.
