The Flinders Ranges Ediacara Foundation was established in 2018 with a charter to protect the Ediacaran fossils found at Nilpena in South Australia’s Flinders Ranges. We are protecting the region for future generations as we continue to unearth the earliest remains of animal life on earth.

Giving Philosophy

The foundation focuses on preserving a globally significant paleontological site and supporting scientific research into early animal life evolution. It values collaboration with traditional owners, government partners, and leading scientific organisations to protect and share this unique geological heritage with the public.
