Preventative approach to animal welfare - addressing root causes (financial hardship, housing, lack of vet care) to keep pets in homes rather than rescuing them from pounds. They believe supporting the human-pet bond is more effective than rehoming and work through intermediaries (caseworkers) to reach vulnerable clients.
Tips for Applicants
This is NOT a direct application process - they work exclusively through caseworkers and social service agencies. Individuals cannot apply directly. Caseworkers must submit referrals on behalf of clients. Small non-refundable deposits required for vet services ($10-$50 depending on service).
