The Thorndale Foundation was established in 1959, as a parent based, not for profit organisation supporting the needs of people with intellectual disabilities in the Nepean area. The early beginnings of the Foundation were as a school for children with disabilities and after initially utilising various temporary accommodations, in 1964 the Thorndale Centre at Rance Road, Werrington, was officially opened. In 1984 the Foundation became part of the Challenge Foundation before again becoming autonomous in 1993, when the Thorndale Foundation Limited formed as a public company limited by guarantee. Today, the Foundation operates a range of support services for participants with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans. Thorndale Foundation has remained a passionate and dedicated not for profit organisation, supporting people with disability to help achieve their goals for almost 60 years. Our vision is to ensure that all people with disability live in a community where equality is a way of life. Thorndale aims to provide opportunity and equality for people with disability within the Nepean, Hawkesbury and lower Blue Mountains community regions with services in Employment, School Leaver Employment Support (SLES), Improved Life Skills, Residential Support and Recreation and Leisure activities. TEAM Inc. provides a wide range of services, including a Window Cleaning service specialising in single storey, all aspects of lawn and garden care, including mowing, weeding, hedging, trimming, edging and tending all manner of garden beds and arborist service supervised by our own qualified arborist.

Unisson Disability has been providing Supported Employment for more than fifty years through our employment servicesPack Works, and Ground Works. We provide professional, cost effective and customer focussed packaging, mail processing, ID Card printing and sample bag fulfilment as well as grounds maintenance to some of Australia's most respected commercial, local and state government organisations. While we are a not for profit organisation we pride ourselves on our work being accurate and high quality, no matter the deadline we are given. We promote inclusion and diversity within the local communities. We promote greater independence of people with a disability within the local communities. By providing meaningful, paid employment for people with intellectual or physical disability we facilitate independence, self-respect and opportunities to enable them to become fully contributing members of the community. We encourage our supported employees to have friendships and community networks (within their communities) separate to their families. We promote attendance by our supported employees in sporting, social and recreational activities within their communities. We provide linkages for our employees to access other service providers, community activities and groups of interest. Our supported employees are the foundation of our business. Uniting Vic.Tas is the community services organisation of the Uniting Church, delivering services and programs across Victoria and Tasmania. We strive to make a difference for individuals, families and communities. Among the many programs and services we provide are two social enterprises - Tadpac Print and Fire & Clay. Tadpac is a registered Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) providing meaningful employment and a sense of community to people living with a disability. he purpose of Valley Skills for Life is to help people with disability develop the skills they need to increase their independence and participate as valued and active members of the community with a person centred approach. Planners work with each individual to design a program of activities to achieve the individual’s goals.

Vincent Industries recycles second hand clothes, footwear and handbags and exports them to India and Malaysia. Clothes that are not suitable for export are processed into a range of cleaning cloths for sale in the North West of Tasmania.

Vivid is a local, not for profit disability service provider that offers supports to more than 200 adults living with disability in Echuca, Kerang, Swan Hill and Kyabram. Supports include day programs, supported accommodation, 1:1 individualised support, transport services, community access, and supported employment. Vivid carries a fifty plus year history of innovation, respect, hard work and community spirit, with more than 150 staff and 85 supported employees. Vivid understands that providing quality disability support services is about listening, understanding, and ultimately assisting people to achieve their goals. Wangarang Industries is a not-for-profit Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE), providing jobs and training for people with a variety of disabilities throughout the Central West region of NSW. Established in 1952, Wangarang is essentially a commercial business that provides real work in a supported environment for more than 125 people with a disability, many of whom would otherwise be unable to work. Our supported employees undertake a diverse range of jobs from straightforward to quite complex in a range of work settings from factory based to mobile work crews. Wangarang offers a range of business and domestic services throughout Orange and the Central West, including: Gardening and lawn maintenance, textile production and repair, component assembly, document scanning, shredding, sewing and alterations, labelling, commercial cleaning, mailing and packaging. Wangarang provide services to a large and diverse customer base ranging from individuals and small sole proprietor businesses through to large multinational corporations. In addition, Wangarang also provides Life Choices and Active Ageing day programs. These programs aim to develop and maintain the participants’ ability to take part in community life, enhance independence, and provide ongoing learning, development and social interaction. Westcare Incorporated is a Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) and a not-for-profit Social Enterprise, providing meaningful employment, high quality development opportunities, training and accommodation for people living with a disability. We have been carrying out our mission since 1947. Westcare is a registered NDIS service providerAs an ADE, Westcare provides a wide range of employment and training across our commercial businesses, these being: Westcare Print (Nedlands, WA)A commercial printing facility offering a full range of graphic materials from stickers to signage. We also provide a full end to end secure mail service, from processing, printing and delivery to receipt and sorting of physical mail. Westcare Box (Bassendan, WA)Westcare manufacture spare part boxes, pathology containers and storage products all made in Australia from fully recyclable materials. Westcare Foodpak (Bassendean, WA)Westcare decant large volume goods such as powders or granular products into small volume packaging for resale (think flour or spices). We offer either a standard or organic food processing environment, both being fully audited to the relevant Australian standards. Westcare Industrial Packaging (Bassendean, WA)Westcare provide a fulfilment service at any volume to assist getting your products to your customers. Our team are Pick and Pack specialists. Westcare also provide independent accommodation services at our Westcare Accommodation Services based in Shenton Park, WA. ISO9001:2015HACCP & Organic Certification Westcare maintains its support to people living with a disability through its independent commercial contracts. Revenue from our commercial enterprises are channelled back into the organisation to fund training, accommodation and work opportunities for people living with a disability. Westcare has over 200 employees in total of which approximately 84% are people living with a disability. Consequently Westcare is directly benefitting supported employees, their carers, families and loved ones.

Our mission is to provide meaningful paid employment, personal growth opportunities and other support services in a safe and happy environment for people living with disability. Our more than 40 Supported Employees are placed in work most suited to their physical and intellectual strengths and personal preferences. Willing & Able has a variety of successful businesses which continue to provide employment for its Supported Employees in the Port Macquarie Hastings Region. These being - Op Shop, Woodwork, Renovation & Recycling Warehouse, Coffee Bar and Commercial Laundry. We also provide recycling and assembly and packaging services. Willing and Able pride ourselves on our contribution to the community. Not only do we support adults living with disability, we work in partnership with various businesses and other community organisations to be as environmentally responsible and sustainable as possible. Windara's business lines are function centre, café, out catering, lawn and garden maintenance and electrical test and tagging. Windara contributes to our local community by providing lawn and garden maintenance services and nourishing meals to people for reasonable cost. Windara provides training and support to local people with disabilities that otherwise would not find employment in the commercial world.

Windgap: Creating Opportunities The Windgap Foundation is a not for profit organisation, with a purpose built, fully functioning warehouse and in house café. Windgap provides meaningful supported employment to adults with intellectual disabilities. There are many roles and opportunities within Windgap’s Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE), catering and Growability gardening teams, providing each of our participants with a range of jobs and skills development. Windgap’s person centred approach provides quality programs and support to foster independence, empowerment, learning and development, enabling each individual to live life to the fullest.Windgap’s Supported Employment programs and services are coordinated by experienced professionals, who work alongside our teams of participants to help provide employment, training and quality production and service. We operate three not for profit social enterprises employing approximately 300 staff. Many of our team would not be given a chance in the open employment market.

Supported Employment program provides support and training to people with a disability, enabling integration to open employment or raising self-esteem by participation within the workforce. Woodbine is a not for profit that provides programs for people with disabilities. Woodbine offers adult training and Australian Disability Enterprises. Community activity and inclusion is the central theme to all activities and programs offered by Woodbine. Woodbine participants volunteer with the local Meals on Wheels, help at the Community Garden and participate in community street parades. Woodbine participants also hold their own art show. Any event on in town, Woodbine participants will be there. Woodbine provides a wide range of activities and opportunities for the people it supports. Woodbine encourages people to develop skills, maximise their potential and become more independent.
